TASSIE: JONTE FROM START TO FINISH

30/05/2022

Jonte Reynders' Tassie's CV just keeps expanding, with the soon-to-be 25-year-old leading from start to finish in round three of the Tasman Endurance Riders Club (TERC) off-road series in Yolla on Saturday, May 28.

Jonte's Motul Pirelli Sherco Race Team 300 SE Factory finished nearly seven seconds ahead of perennial rival Kyron Bacon, with Seton Broomhall third.

Sherco extreme enduro punter Tom Woodhouse (250 SE Factory) was fifth, while it was great to see Sherco royalty in the form of Matthew Phillips competing.

Phillips, who won Sherco's maiden world enduro title in 2016, was seventh overall on the Yolla grass track.

Jonte's now got a few weeks off before the next TERC round on June 25, and then he's hitting Victoria for the Hattah Desert Race where he'll be swapping is normal two-stroke for a 450 SEF Factory. Can't wait to see him ply his trade on the big bertha!
