A massive day for Sherco in round one of the 2022 Australian Hard Enduro Championship in Victoria on the weekend of April 2-3, with Chris Perry and Anthony Solar finishing 1-2 in the 'Kosciusko Killer'.

In wet conditions which only made the extremely challenging course even more difficult, the Sherco duo came to the fore as they both improved two positions from last year's corresponding event – and for Perry a continuation of winning form after climbing to the top step in the recent Victorian hard enduro opener.

Another Sherco rider, Tom Woodhouse, was sixth in the Gold class, where 20 of the 26 riders who started made the finish line.

The attrition rate was more pronounced in the Silver and Bronze classes with only 30 and 53 per cent finishing, while only one competitor in the women's class out of 10 saw the close of play.

Motul Pirelli Sherco Race Team's Ina Coleman didn't start the women's main race after hurting her calf muscle in Saturday's prologue.

The second round of the 2022 Australian Hard Enduro Championship, the 'Ironstone Extreme (Qld) in Mount Morgan, will be held on June 25-26.
