STROKE OF FINAL GENIUS

6/12/2021

Jonté Reynders has put an exclamation mark on an emphatic off-road season with a resounding victory in the Tasmanian 2 Stroke Cup on December 4.

This time, Reynders’ dash, guile and free-wheeling spirit on the Motul Pirelli Sherco Race Team 300 SE Factory was played out in a motocross setting at Blackwood Park.
The 24-year-old sauntered across the finish line nearly 14 seconds ahead of Brodie Ellis in the eight-lap feature race, with his benchmark lap time over two seconds ahead of the next best competitor.

RESULTS HERE

Only weeks ago, Reynders wrapped up the Tassie enduro title – his main racing outlet in 2021 after his mainland appearances were nobbled by Covid restrictions.
His impact was still immense, though: second overall in the E3 class at the one and only round of the truncated Australian Off Road Championship in April, and a dominant victory in the open two-stroke class at the Hattah Desert Race in July.

Congrats on a towering year, Jonte!
