Motul Pirelli Sherco’s Jonté Reynders has produced his most emphatic performance of the 2021 Tassie enduro season with a powerhouse victory in Yolla on Saturday, October 2.
Reynders (2022 Sherco 300 SE Factory) was imperious in the ‘King of the Paddock’ final, defeating Seton Broomhall by 37 seconds after 11 grinding laps on a “mud bath”, with Kyron Bacon in third.
Reynders’s fastest lap of the race was a whopping 3.5 seconds ahead of anyone else as he took home the full suite of accolades in Yolla.
“My Sherco got an awesome jump and I came into the first corner in front, but another rider came up on the inside and slammed into me making me lose a couple of positions,” said Jonte.
“I was sitting in fourth after the first lap, and I was in the lead by lap three. From there I just made sure I was hitting my marks and focusing on not making any mistakes on the tough track.
“It was my seventh win of the season, and I’m stoked on how I rode.”
FULL RESULTSReynders now carries a 36pt lead into the final round of the season – an eight-hour epic at Sprent, near Devonport, on October 30-31.
