Jonte Reynders’ stunning form in the 2021 Tasmanian enduro series continued on August 21 with a clinical victory at a grass track event in Deloraine.
Although he “wasn’t feeling the flow” as much as usual, the 24-year-old settled into the groove when it mattered on his Motul Pirelli Race Team 300 SE Factory to win the ‘King of the Paddock’ finale by nearly 12 seconds over great rival, Kyron Bacon.
Seton Broomhall was third and, such was the pace at the pointy end, only six riders completed the full 10 laps of the sodden 2km circuit.
The series continues at Golden Valley on September 4 with a more enduro-focussed event, followed by another grass track at Yolla on October 2.
