Rush Rumble trail bike rally a festival for dirt bikes

The inaugural Rush Rumble trail bike rally staged on the NSW South Coast has proven to be a weekend-long festival of great riding on pristine trails. Open to licensed riders on registered motorcycles, the Rumble attracted riders from across NSW intent on riding quality trails in a hassle-free environment.

Staged from the East Lynne Store, the Rush Rumble featured two fully-arrowed trail loops that entrants could ride at their leisure on Saturday and Sunday. Sherco demonstrator test rides were available from the base at East Lynne, providing riders the opportunity to sample the latest and greatest Sherco models in real trail conditions.

The Rush Rumble is the brainchild of Rush Adventure Tours who traditionally run fully catered trail tours in a number of locations around Australia. The Rush Rumble is a new venture for Rush Adventure Tours in much the same manner as a music festival. Nothing but hassle-free trail riding with like-minded people.

“The Rush Rumble gave us a chance to provide great trails to a good number of riders all in one wekeend,” stated Lindsay Bond from Rush Adventure Tours. “Riders could take to the trails at their own pace and easily navigate their way around with the directional arrows guiding the way. With sweep riders on hand to help any riders who had difficulty and St Johns Ambulance on-site to treat any injuries, the Rumble provided a safe way for riders to enjoy some really beautiful trails.”

Riders were greeted with glamping-style conditions at East Lynne with hot showers, toilets, spit roast evening meal and cooked breakfast catering, live entertainment Saturday night and some great Sherco prizes.

“We had 150 riders participate and the Sherco test loop was busy with interested riders taking advantage of free demo rides,” Bond continued. “The weekend was just fantastic. The calibre of riders in attendance was brilliant. We had no issues and no hooligans. All we had was a great atmosphere and some brilliant riding so we’re planning another Rush Rumble near Mogo, NSW later this year.”
