Broc Grabham was open minded about entering his first-ever extreme enduro but the Bathurst blaster took to the technical terrain like a seasoned professional. Mounted aboard a stock Sherco 300SE-R, Grabham worked his way to a comfortable 4th place finishing.
“If I knew it wasn’t going to get any harder towards the end I would have pushed harder earlier in the race,” an obviously fit Grabham exclaimed at the end of the event.
“The 300 was perfect and a lot of fun to ride. I fitted a Force Accessories bacs plate and just rode at a consistent pace and it was good to end up fourth. I’ll definitely attack a bit harder next year.”
Fresh from her word beating performance in the International Six Day Enduro in Argentina, Sherco’s Jess Gardiner claimed her first Wildwood Rock Extreme Enduro win.
“After three attempts at this race it’s finally to get a finish but it didn’t come easy. I had my fair share of drama but I got there and it feels good.”
Rob McLaren completed a fantastic Sherco effort at Wildwood Rock by taking out the over 40 class win. “I’m wrapped,” Rob said after crossing the line. The Sherco dealer from Hobart putting his win down to the support of his team from Service Moto.
“Everyone worked hard to get me across the line. The support was amazing from all the Sherco guys in the pits.”
