The fifth annual 24MX Ales Trem hard enduro in the south of France has been won by Sherco’s Mario Roman. The first big hard enduro event of 2020 proved to be a massive confidence booster for Roman who claimed the win by a 13-minute margin over Husqvarna’s Graham Jarvis.
The multi-day event proved to be a huge hit with fans and riders alike with only three riders completing the final lap. Roman stormed out to a huge lead on the final lap having spent over seven hours on the bike.
“Starting the season on top of the podium,” offered an elated Roman. “Super stoked with my riding during the whole weekend. I am super proud to be with this great team since 2017. We are making history around the world and showing that the bike is at a great level.”
Roman’s Sherco teammate, Wade Young finished the event in fourth place with KTM’s Manuel Lettenbichler third.
