It’s been a huge week of racing for Sherco as riders have dominated podiums across three different disciplines of off-road racing. The groundswell of Sherco success cannot be denied as riders continue to claim top placings.
French enduro star Jeremy Tarroux sealed the 2017 French E! Enduro Championship aboard his Sherco 250 SEF-R while Wade Young and Mario Roman battled to the death at the Red Bull Sea To Sky extreme race in Turkey.
Young was looking good to take the overall win before a mistake on the last hill saw him slip back to third place. Young was overtaken by eventual winner Graham Jarvis and Sherco team mate Mario Roman.
Meanwhile, the Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team tasted success at the Panafrica Rally with Joan Pedrero taking the in ahead of team mate Adrien Metge.
“’It’s been a huge weekend of racing for Sherco, the world-over,” stated Sherco Australia’s Stephen Tuff. “The hard enduro scene is buzzing with Young and Roman always in the hunt for the win, no matter where they compete. It’s great to see the Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team boys come through with the 1-2 result. These guys are gearing up for another assault at Dakar 2018 so there’s some real momentum going for them now. Then, of course, there Tarroux with the E1 enduro championship win in France. We all saw how fast he was at the ISDE last month so it’s great to see him take a Championship.”
Sherco Australia is gearing up for the annual Wildwood Rock Extreme where a solid field of Sherco riders will battle it out for Australia’s toughest extreme enduro on October 29.
