The third day of racing at the 2017 International Six Day Enduro in Brive-la-Gaillarde, in the French region of Corrèze, produced some excellent results for Sherco riders.
Team France rider Jeremy Tarroux was on fire in the E1 Class and smoked the small-bore division on his Sherco 250 SEF-R. Tarroux now sits in second place after three days in the E1 Class and fourth place overall across all classes.
As the Australian Trophy Team charged on securing second place, Matthew Phillips remained consistent with 6th place for the day on his Sherco 300 SE-R in the E3 Class. Phillips now sits in 5th place in the E3 Class and 17th place overall across all classes with three days of racing remaining.
Young Aussie racer Ben Kearns was flying in the C1 Class recording the third fastest time for Day-3. Kearns and his Australia Club Team are wedged in 22nd place between Scotland in 21st and Canada East in 23rd.
The Australian Trophy Team of Sherco’s Matthew Phillips, Daniel Milner, Josh Green and Daniel Sanders trails Team France by over five-minutes, yet holds a two-minute lead over Finland with three days of racing remaining.
The Australian Women’s Trophy Team now holds a five-minute lead over the USA with France a further eight-minutes behind.
