Albert Cabestany and Sherco,
together for two more years

Albert Cabestany has renewed his contract with Sherco for two more years. The plan is to improve on the good results that have been obtained in the two past seasons. Albert, who is a 24 years old and a native of Tarragona, started riding for Sherco in 2005, and has twice been the runner-up in the Indoor Championship on the mark. Albert is always among the leaders in the Outdoor World Championship and the Championship of Spain; he has also won several GP Championships. We believe that better understanding of the equipment will bear more fruit in 2007. Lluis Gallach the former Spanish Champion will mind for Albert in 2007.

Dani Oliveras signs with Sherco for 2007 and 2008

Dani Oliveras of Girona, who is considered to be one of the most promising Trials riders in the world, has signed a two year agreement with Sherco. Dani will compete in the senior category, where he will face the best riders in the world. Dani arrives with an impressive winning resume; he won the 125 Championship of the World, finished third in the Championship of Europe and finished second in the World Junior Championship. The addition of Oliveras to the Sherco Trials Team reinforces the potential for a very good season. A season in which the youthfulness of the new acquisition, along with the experience of Albert Cabestany, should lead to some very exciting results in both the Spanish and World Championships.

Sherco Riders School held in conjunction
with the EICMA Show in Milan

The Sherco Enduro Distributor for Italy, Perego, along with the Italian Confederation of Sherco Riders, held a riders school in the Motorcycle Parlor of Milan. The objective of the school was to offer a series of short riding classes to the young riders in the area. The course was a great success and a total of 75 riders participated in the classes. The students learned how to negotiate the course on the Sherco Supermotard 50.

Equilibrium (Balance) rewarded:
great success of the Burn Balance

The Burn Balance is a contest held by the energy drink company, who is a sponsor of our official rider Albert Cabestany. Spectators at the Spanish Indoor Trials Championship are given the opportunity to see how long they can balance a Sherco Motorcycle. The one, who manages to keep from putting their foot down for the longest time, wins a nice prize, that is presented to them by Albert Cabestany; some of the gifts of equilibrium are very surprising.
