You design the Sherco engine, any comments after one year
of production ?
During last year the engine has proven to be very reliable with great
performance. I have focused to improve in this side even more working together with Paxau.
How many suppliers are working for Sherco ?
We are in contact with around 56 suppliers and I have calculated that more than
100 persons are working permanently for our company.
How are the new projects ?
I'm now working on the new 2.9 and 1.2-2.0 which I believe they will be ready before the end of
the year. The 2.9 could be upgraded from the 2.5 but the 1.2 and 2.0 have a different crankcases
and crankshaft because we want them to be very performant.

Josep Paxau
Paxau is a worldwide known as one of the best trials genius, he takes care of the set up and
development of the bike in his PXC department based in Torellò. Paxau, with the help of
Graham Jarvis and David Cobos is always concerned about how to make a bike that
delivers the needs of the world championship riders, but also deliver the needs of novices and
intermediate riders.
What is the best improvement on the 2.5 2000?
I will say that the bike has been greatly improved in many small but important
points, but probably the new rear suspension with a different progression curve and Ollé
shock is the one that customers will feel the most.
Does Jarvis and Cobos help you in the development ?
Jarvis and Cobos are two conceptions in trial rider, their style is completely
different as one is very constant and has a wonderful throttle control, the other is aggressive and
talented. I try to extract the best from both and apply into the bikes their needs.
