Jeremy Joly, the promising young Sherco rider discusses
his season.
In 2004, I rode a SHERCO 50CC and I competed in the French
Enduro Championship in the 50CC category; I also competed
in the Trophy of the Bees in the 50CC category. The bike was
prepared by Lionel Carenzi and I must say that I had no mechanical
problems throughout the season
Results for 2004:
French Enduro Champion 50CC
Winner of the Trophée des Abeilles enduro for the 2nd
year in a row since
( I had won it in 2003)
It was logical for me to climb categories for 2005 and Sherco
gave me the chance to upgrade to the 125CC category on the
Prototype 125CC Sherco. We therefore decided that I would
participate in the 125CC French National Category B Enduro
Championship. I would also compete in the World wide championship,
this was not part of the agreement with Sherco but the craving
to represent Sherco with a good showing was irresistible and
I have therefore participated in three European races (Poland
with an 8th place finish, Italy with an 8th place and England
with a 9th place) I am therefore in 8th place overall in the
general classification with one race remaining in Germany.
I have also attempted a World-wide race with only one race
in France in the junior scratch category where I finished
10th scratch the first day and 14th on the second day.
In the final French Championship I finished as the French
Junior Champion, French Champion E1 National B and French
Champion National B scratch.
I want to thank the bike club of the south for their support,
Carenzi my assistant, Ipone for their assistance, TOP FUN,
SHARK, SPY, SHERCO, AFAM, BOUQUET, ALLIANCES SWIMMING POOLS,
PISCINELLE, and I want to say a special thank you to my father
who was always present at all of the races.
