A few months ago, we announced the release of the new Sherco 50 cc Supermotard model. This placed Sherco right in the middle of one of the most competitive markets in all of Europe. Sherco, faithful to its sporting spirit, designed these new models to bring a fresh air to this market; we also decided to develop a powerful competitive team in order to promote the performance of these new machines.

The Sherco Supermotard team has broken all predictions with its victory in the first race of the Championship of France de Supermotard. It is now considered to be one of the favorites for the overall championship.

The riders are Yoann Marche and Erics Dubus; they are prepared to ride these machines to victory. The bikes have been custom tailored for each rider by Stephane Fort.

The bikes will really fly…, the base of the motor is a Minarelli AM6, they changed to the Conti cylinder, and they have CHR ignition systems and are equipped with a Dellorto 28 mm VHSA carburetor. A very important part of these prototypes is the exhaust pipe, which has been handmade. The graphics are identical to the production model; other changes include mounting Excel gold version rims and trimmed Michelin slick tires.

It is really a spectacle to see these small motorcycles flying at 160 km/h skidding sliding and defying all the laws of gravity. They are quite a remarkable site to behold.

Sherco USA member Debbie Evans awarded the Taurus World Stunt Award ™

Sherco goes to Hollywood…Debbie Evans; spouse of former American Champion Lane Leavitt was the recipient of two Taurus World Stunt Awards ™ on May 19th for her work in The Fast and The Furious. She was nominated in two categories for driving a Honda Civic underneath a semi-truck and doing a turnover on the other side while doubling for actress Michelle Rodriguez.

Scottish Trial is a new shop exclusively dedicated to the world of trials. They offer all of the trials bike models and a complete line of accessories. They have a great website www.scottishtrial.com which is probably the most complete we have seen.

The shop has a great layout with a separate corner for every brand with a resume and history of each. They also have and a great backlighted wall with pictures of trials from the past to the present, with a special place for the Scottish.
