Albert Cabestany rides the Sherco 3.2 4T
in Competition for the first time
Albert Cabestany decided to ride the 3.2 4T in the 35th edition of the Three Days of Santigosa, a long term motorcycle test which set apart a special day dedicated to elite riders. This is the first time that Albert has competed on the 3.2. As you would expect the presence of the new motorcycle in the hands of such a famous rider caused a notable stir among the spectators and other competitors. The sections were very slippery and everyone was amazed, including Albert, at how well the 3.2 performed. Albert finished the event very satisfied with the performance of the motorcycle, this is the first time that he has ridden it in an actual event, he did not rule out utilizing it again if the occasion arose.
Excellent start of the season for Jeremy Joly
in the European Enduro Championship
The first round of the European Enduro Championship (Class I) was held on the Italian island of Sardinia. This was the debut race for the young French rider Jeremy Joly in this class, Jeremy competing on the Sherco 125 Enduro bike, obtained some excellent results, he won the race on the second day, this gave him third place overall for the two day event. This is an outstanding start for the young rider who just moved up to this class and confirms our faith in his ability and the strength of the new motorcycle. Jeremy began the race somewhat nervous because of the responsibility that was placed on his shoulders; however he rose to the occasion and in spite of several falls the first day he had a decent finish. The second day he was much calmer and the results showed the improvement, the young rider came through with a win, defeating all of the other strong young riders. Jeremy finished very satisfied with the behavior of the Sherco 125 and trusts that as he continues to gain experience on the bike the results will continue to get better.

Albert Cabestany faces Juan Carlos Ferrero
We all know about the amazing things that can be done on a trials motorcycle when ridden by a professional rider. But to enjoy a round of tennis while riding a trials bike stretches the imagination. But as often is the case, reality often surpasses fiction; in this case Tennis champion Juan Carlos Ferrero and Albert Cabestany decided to attempt an amazing feat. While both men were riding Sherco trials bikes they volleyed some balls back and forth. Albert made a surprise visit to the Tennis Club of Valencia and after negotiating some difficult obstacles came upon Juan Carlos who was practicing. A good natured challenge was issued and they put on quite a show for the surprised guests.

The recently renewed 50 cc Sherco models just received a new and spectacular version of the "Ipone Replica" in the Supermotard model line. This version of the 50cc bike adopts the image and graphics of the trademark that has won many championships. The new version is directed at the young enthusiast who wants to identify with the winning tradition of the "Ipone" brand and desires to possess the spirit of the brand.
Sherco Enduro Team - Very Successful in the
"Grappe of Cyrano" Enduro Classic
The Sherco Enduro Team has again been very successful in the discipline. In the recent "GRAPPE OF CYRANO" Enduro, a two day race, which was held in the vicinity of Dordogne, in the southwest of France the team, did very well. This is a race which is very popular and always has a large number of participants in all categories. The Blue riders achieved victories in several classes. Laurent Charbonnel won the class reserved for national riders in the over 250 cc class. Thierry Klutz dominated in the International 3, with Michael Vukcevic fourth and Jean Memmi fifth, while Didier Tirard, Director of Sherco France, finished second in the Promo class for motorcycles that are over 250 cc's.
